1. "Do i have to be a male/have a masculine alligned gender to be bi gay?"Nope! You can be a nonbinary bi gay, a xenic bi gay, an outherine bi gay, a bi turigirl & the list goes on...All u need is to have some kind of attraction towards men/masculine genders; that's all.2. "Why did you make this carrd?"
I made this carrd because i've seen less carrds which explain what a bi gay is; as opposed to ones explaining about bi [& other mspec] lesbians. So i myself as a bi gay decided to make my own one!! :3
3. "What if i don't understand the label even after all of those explanations?"Ok so, if u have read all of those various explanations/reasons on why someone might identify as bi gay. u just have to respect it even if you don't understand it! It's that simple.

Gender Blending edited by Bonnie Bullough, Vern L. Bullough, and James Elias (1997)“One of the most important things I tell new friends is that I am a gay-identified bisexual.”-“Pro Choice” by Marcia Deihl, Gay Community News (1984)“I see myself as gay and bisexual, they say this cannot be. However, my lifestyle having developed over the last 10 years as an ‘out’ gay man, I am not going into the closet. I am still gay.”-“Andy, 27”, Bisexual Lives by Off Pink Publishing (1988)“There were workshops aimed at married and straight-identified bisexuals, as well as gay- and lesbian-identified bisexuals.”-1990 National Bisexual Conference by Liz Highleyman, Bi Women Quarterly (1990)“Not only could I technically be bisexual, I could identify as gay and grow to be proud of it.” / “I began to feel that the right way for me to identify was as gay politically and bisexual behaviourally.”-David Burke, 45, Bisexual Lives by Off Pink Publishing (1988)“As a gay-identified bisexual man, my anger is compounded by the nagging feeling that the entire lesbian, gay and bisexual community is being suckered into losing sight of the social aspects of dependency, chemical and otherwise.”-“Privatized ‘Recovery’ Versus Collective Action” by Leonard Tirado, Gay Community News (1990)“When Alan Rockway died of AIDS in November 1987, our bisexual community lost one of its key leaders. His was another senseless loss. Alan, a founding member of BiPOL, had been very active as a gay-identified bisexual organizer. He co-authored the controversial Gay Rights Ordinance in Dade County, Florida, which spurred Anita Bryant’s Save Our Children Campaign.”-“Another Senseless Loss” by Dolores Bishop, Bi Any Other Name by Lani Ka’ahumanu and Loraine Hutchins (1991)“Alan had always been an inspiration to me as a gay-identified bisexual organizer, because he had incredible chutzpah and feminist politics.”-“A Bi-Coastal Partnership: An Interview with Co-editors Lani Ka’ahumanu & Loraine Hutchins” by Naomi Tucker, Anything That Moves (1991)“In the mid-1970s, I had a three-year relationship with a gay-identified, bisexual, female-to-male, preoperative transsexual (he was the dominant, and I the passive, partner). [...] Then, several years later, in 1982, I had a brief, but intense, love affair with another ‘new man’ (also preoperative, gay-identified, bisexual, and dominant).”-Gender Blending edited by Bonnie Bullough, Vern L. Explanations on why someone might identify as bi gay:

1. Someone using the split attraction model [eg: biromantic gay OR bisexual homoromantic].2. Someone having a fluid orientation/being abrosexual/abroromantic between bi & gay.3. Someone who is bi & has a very strong attraction towards men & or other masculine genders; compared to other they may be attracted to.4. A plural system with their headmates being bi & gay & thus the collective orientation being bi gay.5. Someone who feels theyre somewhere in between bi & gay.6. Someone who is bi & has attraction to various genders, excluding feminine & or female genders.7. A trans man/masculine person who was simply bi before transitioning still had a strong attraction to men/masculine genders. but after transitioning they are now a man/masculine & thus still consider themself bi & but now also gay aswell after transitioning [& have the exact same strong attraction towards men/masculine genders] . So they consider themself as bi gay!8. Someone using the term gay as an umbrella term.9. Someone is attracted to all male/masculine genders10. Someone has a fluid or constantly changing gender identity & on some days when a masculine gender [if they have one] is more prominent, they might feel more gay & on other days when a masculine gender isnt as prominent. They feel more bi.11. Emphasis on nonbinary individuals in their attraction.12. The label feels right to someone who identifies as that...& many other explanations i didnt include here!Note: these aren't the only ways to be bi gay, theres just more than that! Those are just some examples of usage of the label.

Common misconceptions

1. "The label bi gay is homoandrophobic/achillephobic & biphobic!"Nope! it isn't homoandrophobic/achillephobic, biphobic or both. This misconception of the label being homoandrophobic/achillephobic & biphobic is deeply rooted in exorsexism, transphobia & multigenderphobia & isn't true at all!2. "The label bi gay implies that gays can be attracted to women & that invalidates me as a gay person!!"Well; NOT ALL bi gays are attracted to women & some identify as bi gay bc they are attracted to various genders excluding feminine ones! also the fact that label invalidates u is bc ur being an exclusionist!3. "Bi gays don't exist!"Uhh... they do tho? also ur just straight up being a queerphobe tbh.
